Refund Policy
Effective at KeptPosted service launch — published in advance on 1 August 2026.
We’d rather you tried KeptPosted free than paid and regretted it — that’s what the free tier and the no-card trial are for. Here’s how refunds work when you do pay.
1. Try before you buy.Every paid feature can be evaluated on the 14-day trial without entering a card, and the free tier is free forever. You’ll never be charged without deliberately subscribing.
2. Cancelling.Cancel any time; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. We don’t lock you in, and there are no cancellation fees.
3. Change-of-mind refunds. If you subscribe and it’s not right for you, email hello@keptposted.com within 14 days of a charge and we’ll refund it in full — no interrogation. Outside that window, monthly charges are generally non-refundable for partial periods, but ask anyway; we’re human about billing mistakes, forgotten cancellations, and double-charges.
4. Faults and consumer rights. If the service has a major problem or doesn’t do what we said it does, you’re entitled to remedies under the Australian Consumer Law — including a refund where the law provides for one — and equivalent consumer rights where you live. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
5. How refunds are processed. Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record, so approved refunds are issued through Paddle to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.
6. Annual plans. If we offer annual billing, we’ll email you a reminder before each renewal, and the same 14-day change-of-mind window applies from every annual charge — including renewals; after that window, annual fees are refundable pro-rata only where consumer law requires it, or where clause 11 of the Terms (changes you don’t accept) applies.
Contact for anything billing-related: hello@keptposted.com — include the email on your account and the approximate charge date.
