Terms of Service
Effective at KeptPosted service launch — published in advance on 1 August 2026.
Welcome to KeptPosted. These terms are a contract between you and Korvelora (ABN 43 238 425 197), an Australian sole trader business (“KeptPosted”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using keptposted.com, you agree to them. We’ve tried to keep them short and in plain English.
1. What KeptPosted is. KeptPosted lets you create branded client portals: status pages, file sharing, approvals, and payment links that you share with your clients. Your clients can view portals you share with them without creating an account.
2. Your account. You need to be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. One person or business per account; you may have multiple client portals under it.
3. Plans, trials, and billing. We offer a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed by our merchant of record, Paddle, which acts as the reseller and seller of record for purchases — Paddle’s checkout terms apply to the payment transaction itself, and your invoice will come from Paddle. Trials don’t require a card; when a trial ends without upgrading, your account moves to the free tier (with its limits) rather than being deleted. Prices are shown in full at checkout with no hidden or last-minute fees; we won’t raise the price of a plan you’re already subscribed to without at least 30 days’ notice, and you can cancel before any change takes effect. If you’re on an annual plan, we’ll email you a reminder before each renewal so a renewal never takes you by surprise.
4. Cancellation. You can cancel any time from your account settings or via Paddle’s customer portal — cancelling never takes more effort than subscribing did, and we will never add friction, retention hurdles, or “call us to cancel” steps. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. See the Refund Policy for refunds.
5. Your content.Everything you and your clients upload — files, project details, branding — is yours. You grant us only the license needed to host, display, and transmit it to operate the service. We don’t sell your content or use it to train AI models. You’re responsible for having the rights to what you upload and for what you share with your clients.
6. Acceptable use.Don’t use KeptPosted to break the law, infringe others’ rights, distribute malware, send spam, or store content that is illegal or that we reasonably consider abusive. We can suspend or terminate accounts that do, with notice where practicable.
7. Availability and changes. We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice for material changes. We back up service data regularly, but you should keep your own copies of critical files.
8. Consumer guarantees. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Liability.Subject to clause 8: the service is provided “as is”; to the maximum extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost profits or lost business), and our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Where liability can’t be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of re-supply.
10. Termination. You can close your account at any time. We can terminate for material breach of these terms (with notice and a chance to remedy where reasonable) or if we discontinue the service (with at least 60 days’ notice and a data-export window).
11. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms only for good reason — such as changes to the service, the law, or our providers. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect, and no change will materially reduce what you’ve already paid for during a current billing period. If you don’t accept a material change, you can cancel before it takes effect and we’ll refund any prepaid amount for the unused remainder of your term. Continuing to use the service after the notice period means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts there — without limiting any non-excludable consumer rights in your own jurisdiction.
